By putting in applications for funding we are aiming to raise money to put education packs together for the schools of Tonga.
To teach children from a young age the beauty of a kind and loving relationship with animals: How to care for and handle all animals and to see our children learn to care.

TAWS aims to work alongside the services that look after the community to help promote messages of animal kindness, in particular to the dogs of Tonga

FIVE FREEDOMS

TAWS upholds the Five Principles of Animal Welfare:

Freedom from hunger and thirst by ready access to fresh water and diet

Freedom from discomfort by providing appropriate environment including shelter and comfortable resting area

Freedom from pain, injury, disease by prevention of rapi diagnosis and treatment

Freedom to express normal behaviour by providing sufficient space, proper facilities and company of the animal's own kind

Freedom from fear and distress by ensuring conditions and treatment which avoid mental suffering
